If summer had a “drink”…

…I would probably guess Rosé, or a crisp cold beer. But then, there’s this. A Lambrusco float. Holy cow. My root beer float loving inner-child just grew up. 2 ingredients of crisp, effervescent, sweet, tart, refreshment. Drink it as a dessert, or as a fun afternoon cocktail on your porch. This version is completely dairy-free, and that felt more natural to me with sparkling red wine. But, if you really want the true “float” experience, try a sherbet instead of a sorbet. You’ll get that frothy, milky effect that does get left out when using sorbet. Heck, while you’re playing around, try any tart fruit flavor. Have fun with this one, friends!!
